Thank you to all those who donated towards or joined us for our 30th Annual SAWA Iftar.  We enjoyed a beautiful evening with the community and shared updates on the impact of your donations.  We raised over $30,000 towards the following causes:  SAWA Bareeq School, Islet Kiwan, Basmet El Amal, and Drop of Milk.  We announced our 2025 board of directors,  enjoyed authentic Syrian cuisine, along with some raffle prizes.  Thank you again for your generosity.  We're looking forwa

2024 Year in Review ​ 29th Annual Iftar Update (March 2024) Thank you to all of you who joined, supported, or contributed to the 29th Annual Iftar on March 17th. We were able to raise $22,000which will go towards another year of operations for the SAWA/Bareeq school and also support local charities in Syria.     Thanks to your generosity, we are able to support the SAWA Bareeq school for another year and help them expand to 150 students.
